Sanford brings more than 38 years to his role as Controller & Chief Accounting Officer. He is responsible for overseeing all financial matters relating to the corporate, property management, construction and development operations for Bainbridge. 

Sanford’s experience expands across multiple facets of accounting and asset management, including building a successful tax and accounting practice, providing acquisition, operation and disposition consulting services to hotel and restaurant companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas. Sanford is a CPA.

Prior to joining Bainbridge in 2012, Sanford served various roles within the multifamily industry including corporate controller of real estate for KB Holdings and then at Atlantic and Pacific Management where he was the Controller and Director of Financial Services. He was the Corporate Controller and Asset Manager for Selco and Kansas City Café Company, closely-held sister companies that owned and operated hotels and restaurants.
