Bob Thollander

President, Development


Mr. Thollander serves as President of Development in Florida and is responsible for sourcing and execution of real estate development projects throughout the State of Florida.  In this capacity, Robert’s responsibilities include identifying and sourcing vacant land parcels suitable for development of luxury rental apartments and mixed-use projects. His responsibilities include land acquisition, obtaining entitlements, project design, financial modeling and underwriting, permitting, project funding, construction management, marketing, lease up and disposition. Since joining Bainbridge, Mr. Thollander has been responsible for initiating the acquisition and development of over 3,000 multifamily units.   

In his previous roles, Mr. Thollander served as the Florida regional development partner for several large equity investors with responsibility for all aspects of multifamily land acquisition, entitlements and construction supervision for close to twenty years. Robert was a development manager with Oxford Development Corporation, a national multi-family development company for five years and worked with Laventhol & Horwath CPA firm as a consultant. 

Mr. Thollander received a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in finance as well as a Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in finance and economics. Both degrees were received from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
