Brian brings nearly 15 years of combined multifamily and legal experience to his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. In this role Brian oversees all of Bainbridge's legal affairs and strategic planning, as well as Fund formation and execution, compliance, and risk management. Mr. Doppelt is also deeply involved in all aspects of Bainbridge’s operations, transactions activity, asset management, and sits on the firm’s investment committees.

Brian’s experience expands across representing clients in disputes and transactional matters involving complex financial transactions including real estate developers and operators.  Since joining Bainbridge in 2016, Brian has worked on more than $2 billion in joint ventures, acquisitions and sales, and commingled Funds. Before joining Bainbridge, Brian was an associate at a Manhattan-based boutique white collar and securities law firm and a law clerk to a US District Judge in the Southern District of New York. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Brian is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council and serves on its Government Affairs & NMHC PAC Committee. He is also highly active with and often serves in various leadership and directorship roles in a variety of other civic, religious, and charitable organizations. Brian is licensed to practice law in New York and is certified as authorized house counsel in Florida.
