Brian Doppelt

Senior Vice President, General Counsel


Brian brings more than 10 years’ experience to his role as SVP and General Counsel. He serves as the company’s in-house corporate counsel and is responsible for managing its legal affairs, as well as compliance and risk management. He also assists the executive team in overseeing operations, asset management and transactions activity.

Brian’s experience expands across representing clients in disputes and transactional matters involving complex financial transactions including real estate developers and operators. Since joining Bainbridge in 2016, he has worked on approximately $2 billion of transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions and sales. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Brian is licensed to practice law in New York and is certified as authorized house counsel in Florida. Brian is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council. He also serves in leadership roles in various charitable and community organizations including as a Director of the Board of Dorot, a nonprofit organization and national thought leader on reducing social isolation in older persons, and as a Director of the Board of the MorseLife Housing Corpration, Inc. 

Prior to joining Bainbridge in 2016, Brian was an associate for a New York City based white-collar and securities litigation law firm, a prosecutor with the New York State Attorney General’s Office, and a law clerk to the Hon. Richard M. Berman of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
